Tennessee (3-0) is up one spot this week in the USA TODAY Sports men’s basketball coaches poll. The Vols are ranked No. 17.
Tennessee will return to action on Monday at Food City Center. The Vols will host Rice (2-2) in a nonconference matchup. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. EST (SEC Network).

Tennessee will also host Tennessee State this week at Food City Center. Tipoff on Thursday is slated for 7 p.m. EST (SEC Network+).
The Vols have recorded wins over Mercer, Northern Kentucky and North Florida since tipping off its 2025-26 regular season.
