“Good win,” Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel said. “I liked a lot of what we did in the first half, some things that we need to clean up on all three phases of the game, from the first half too.

“Second half started fast and our young guys go in the ball game. Some good, but a lot of things that, you know, game action has proved positive of things they got to clean up too and attention to detail. All in all, good win.”

Tennessee will next play at Mississippi State (4-0) on Saturday. Kickoff between the Vols and Bulldogs is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. EDT at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Mississippi. The Bulldogs are 4-0 to start a season for the first time since 2014.
