TNA Wrestling made a huge call at Slammiversary 2025—and it came straight from the top.
Just before the main event, Director of Authority Santino Marella appeared in front of the live crowd at UBS Arena and announced that Tessa Blanchard has been suspended indefinitely.
Santino didn’t reveal how long the suspension will last, but the message was loud and clear. Blanchard’s post-match meltdown—where she attacked Indi Hartwell and TNA interviewer Gia Miller—wasn’t going to slide without consequences.
Earlier in the night, Tessa lost her singles match to Hartwell. Moments later, she snapped and attacked Hartwell again at ringside before blindsiding Gia Miller during a post-match interview segment. Security rushed in as the broadcast quickly cut away.
Things escalated backstage, where Santino confronted her and had her thrown out of the building.
That drama followed a brutal moment during the match itself, when the UBS Arena crowd erupted with a loud “she’s a racist” chant—proof that fans still haven’t moved on from her past controversy involving La Rosa Negra.
Now, with Tessa officially pulled from TV, it’s unclear if or when she’ll return.
Should TNA bring Tessa back after this? Or was this the final straw? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know where you stand.
