Texas A&M (11-1, 7-1 SEC) is just three days away from hosting Miami (10-2) in the first round of the College Football Playoff, which will be the first appearance in the tournament for both programs, and is considered the best game of the weekend. Set to kick off at 11:00 a.m. CT on Saturday, the first injury report was released for both teams on Wednesday night.
For the Aggies, star running back Le’Veon Moss, who missed the last six games of the regular season, returned to practice this week, going through a full workload on Tuesday afternoon, but according to head coach Mike Elko, this is a “wait-and-see” situation.

According to the injury report, Moss is listed as “questionable” with a 50% chance to play. In contrast, senior linebacker Scooby Williams and safety Bryce Anderson are listed as “probable” with a 75% chance to return to the field. This is the first time in nearly two months that Moss hasn’t been listed as either “doubtful” or out, and while Elko would like to keep his return under wraps, this designation sums things up.
Williams ‘ potential return provides a significant boost to Texas A&M’s run defense, which has struggled early in games, while his size and instincts have been missed in coverage. Anderson, who will likely redshirt to return next season, hasn’t played most of the year after a heady injury against Notre Dame effectively shut him down.
For Miami, star cornerback Keionte Scott, who mas missed most of the year with turf toe, is listed as probable and is expected to make his return on Saturday, which is big news for the secondary.
