Thunder Rosa is officially back with AEW after her injuryβ and this time, sheβs all in.
After months of recovery and rehab, the former AEW Womenβs World Champion gave fans the news theyβve been waiting for in her latest vlog uploaded on January 18, 2026. Rosa confirmed that not only is she back with All Elite Wrestling, but sheβs already completed her first week of training and is now fully on the road with the company again after being sidelined due to an undisclosed injury.
βI had my training already. The first week we did okay, but weβre back on the road. The next stop is Atlanta. All right, guys, so I told you that Iβm back at AEW.β
Filming from backstage at this weekβs AEW Dynamite, Rosa showed herself interacting with Mina Shirakawa and Toni Storm, making it clear that her return isnβt just physical β sheβs reintegrating into the locker room and creative mix. She also opened up about her current training schedule and how sheβs approaching her comeback with full intensity.
βIβm here at AEW getting ready to warm up for my second week of training. I want to make sure Iβm totally warmed up because weβre going to do half an hour in the ring. So thatβs what weβre doing. In the meantime, Iβve got to run the stairs.β
This update comes after earlier reports and Instagram stories throughout late 2025 where Rosa hinted at her physical progress and near-future return. But now, itβs official: sheβs back in AEWβs ecosystem and working toward an in-ring comeback.
With AEWβs womenβs division heating up, Rosaβs return could shake things up in a major way. Known for her unmatched intensity and passionate fanbase, her presence brings renewed fire β and possibly gold β back into the picture.
