Feb. 7—TULSA, Okla. — The University of South Dakota women’s basketball team rode strong scoring on the way to a 74-69 win over Oral Roberts at the Mabee Center on Saturday.
Angelina Robles and Patience Williams stole the show Saturday, combining for 47 points and 16 rebounds for the Coyotes (19-6, 9-2 Summit).

Robles matched a career-high with 28 points, adding six rebounds, four assists and a steal. Williams totaled 19 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double, adding two blocks and a steal.
Molly Joyce added 14 points for USD in the win. The Coyotes finished the game shooting 44.8% from the field, but the first half efficiency (56%) helped USD build a lead of 37-25 at halftime.
South Dakota won the rebound battle 42-33 — for the 17th time in its last 18 games — in large part to strong showings on the glass for Elise Turrubiates (14 rebounds), and Williams (10). The Coyotes outscored Oral Roberts 42-26 in the paint as well.
ORU (12-11, 5-5 Summit) was led by Kayten Donley’s 16 points, with 13 points from Jalei Oglesby.
USD begins a three-game homestand on Thursday against Kansas City at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
