The report says that the 27-year-old could find himself at the centre of a transfer standoff as Barcelona try to get the best deal possible, taking advantage of United’s eagerness to get the striker off their books permanently. There is an option to make the deal permanent but Barca want to lower the price, while Rashford is determined to stay with the Blaugrana. Rashford scored twice in last week’s 2-1 win at Newcastle United in the Champions League.
