Truth Magnum Mocks Nixon Newell & Miranda Alize After AEW Collision Walkout

by

Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize found themselves in a tough spot this week after walking out of AEW Collision—and now they’re being mocked for it by one of AEW’s own.

Truth Magnum of the Outrunners didn’t waste any time poking fun at the duo’s walkout. While many backstage are keeping quiet, Magnum went straight to social media with a jab that turned heads. He joked that he and his tag team partner Turbo almost bailed on Collision, too—but for a much less serious reason.

“Turbo and I almost walked out last night when there was no Caesar salad in catering.”

His sarcastic comment comes on the heels of reports that Newell and Alize left the show after being told they’d only get three minutes of in-ring time for their scheduled match. Sources say they had no issue putting over Tay Melo and Anna Jay but were frustrated by how little time they were given. When they asked for more, they were reportedly told the format was locked. That’s when they decided to exit the building altogether.

With the match falling through, AEW quickly called in Hyan and Maya World as replacements. Despite the chaos, the last-minute duo earned praise backstage for handling the situation with total professionalism.

Magnum’s jab might be played for laughs, but it reflects the divide in how talent are reacting to the walkout behind the scenes. While some see it as a serious breach of locker room protocol, others are cracking jokes and moving on.

What happens next for Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize is still up in the air. AEW hasn’t made any official comments, and the door may or may not be open for their return.
