The No. 1 Huskies improved to 15–0 on the season, matching their best start since 2017–18, and extended their Big East dominance with a 53rd consecutive conference win. UConn is now one of just seven unbeaten teams remaining in Division I.
Once again, the night belonged to UConn’s stars.
Sophomore forward Sarah Strong turned in another all-around performance, leading the team with 18 points on efficient shooting while adding eight rebounds, four assists and four steals. Strong knocked down three shots from beyond the arc, continuing a stretch where she has emerged as one of the Huskies’ most dependable scorers.
Azzi Fudd provided her usual scoring punch, finishing with 16 points and four made 3-pointers. The redshirt senior set the tone early with back-to-back triples and remained a steady offensive presence throughout the game, adding two assists and a steal.
Allie Ziebell also made a strong impact, scoring 12 points while shooting 4-for-6 from long range. Her energy on both ends helped UConn pull away after Seton Hall briefly stayed competitive in the opening quarter.

The Huskies’ defense once again overwhelmed the opposition. KK Arnold, returning after missing the previous game with a nasal fracture and wearing a protective mask, didn’t miss a beat. She recorded five assists and a team-high five steals, anchoring a defense that forced 32 turnovers and converted them into 36 points. UConn finished with 20 steals, marking the fifth time this season it has forced at least 30 turnovers.
After a short scoring drought in the first quarter, UConn responded with a late surge that carried into the second period. Geno Auriemma’s lineup adjustments stifled Seton Hall’s offense, allowing the Huskies to build a commanding halftime lead.
The second half was all UConn. Strong controlled the offense, Fudd continued to stretch the floor, and the Huskies blew the game open with a dominant third quarter that pushed the lead beyond 40 points.
With the outcome decided early, UConn’s depth took over. Jana El Alfy scored 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting and added six rebounds, while the bench combined for 33 points. Caroline Ducharme also returned from injury, scoring in her first appearance in three games as UConn received contributions from nearly every player who saw the floor.

As UConn continues its undefeated season, the Huskies’ balance, depth and defensive intensity remain clear strengths, and Sunday’s win was another statement from a team firmly in control.
