For the first time in her collegiate career, Sarah Strong will miss a game. The superstar will sit out UConn’s contest against Butler to rest, the team announced on Saturday morning. No additional information is available at the moment.
Blanca Quiñonez (shoulder) and Caroline Ducharme (migraine) remain sidelined for the fourth straight game. There’s also no change for Morgan Cheli (ankle) and Ice Brady (knee), who are recovering from long-term injuries.
UConn and Butler will tip off at 12 p.m. ET from PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford and on FS1.
