UFC 321 just added a must-see fight.
MMA Fighting’s Mike Heck confirmed with sources with knowledge of the matchup that lightweight sluggers Mateusz Rebecki (20-3) and Ludovit Klein (23-5-1) are set to face off at the upcoming Oct. 25 pay-per-view event in Abu Dhabi. The bout was first reported by Eurosport.
Rebecki is coming off of a Fight of the Night loss to Chris Duncan this past August, a bout that left both men battered by the end of the three-round contest. The loss dropped Rebecki to 4-2 in the UFC.
Klein also dropped a decision in his most recent appearance, losing by unanimous decision to top 15 lightweight Mateusz Gamrot. Prior to that setback, Klein had won four straight fights and gone undefeated in seven (6-0-1) straight appearances. He holds notable wins over Thiago Moises and Ignacio Bahamondes.
UFC 321 is headlined by a pair of title bouts as heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall defends against Ciryl Gane in the main event, while Virna Jandiroba and Mackenzie Dern battle for a vacant strawweight title in the co-main event.
