The biggest UFC event of 2025 finally unfolded on Saturday with UFC 322 at Madison Square Garden in New York, topped by two championship fight.
In the main event, Islam Makhachev (28-1 MMA, 17-1 UFC) claimed the welterweight title from Jack Della Maddalena (18-3 MMA, 8-1 UFC) in lopsided fashion by unanimous decision, while women’s flyweight champ Valentina Shevchenko (26-4-1 MMA, 15-3-1 UFC) had her way with Zhang Weili (26-4 MMA, 10-3 UFC) and got the job done by unanimous decision.
