Merab Dvalishvili’s reign at 135 pounds doesn’t look like it’s ending anytime soon, and his last bout is testament to that.
In October at UFC 320, Dvalishvili’s third straight title defense tied the record for the most consecutive at bantamweight in the UFC. Dvalishvili dominated challenger Cory Sandhagen in the co-main event and won a unanimous decision with a masterful performance.

Dvalishvili (21-4 MMA, 14-2 UFC) returns for a fourth time this year, as he’s set to defend his belt in the main event of UFC 323 on Dec. 6 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. He takes on Petr Yan (19-5 MMA, 11-4 UFC) in a rematch of a fight he won in 2023 before he was champ.
