The final numbered event of 2025 was among the best of the bunch, with UFC 323 delivering in all sorts of exciting and unexpected ways Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Two new champions were crowned, both in stunning fashion. Petr Yan (20-5 MMA, 12-4 UFC) got his revenge on Merab Dvalishvili (21-5 MMA, 14-3 UFC) with a unanimous decision to claim the bantamweight strap, while Joshua Van (16-2 MMA, 9-1 UFC) was awarded the flyweight strap from Alexandre Pantoja (30-6 MMA, 14-4 UFC) after an injury halted the fight in the opening seconds.

The UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance payout for the event totaled $363,500.

Yan, Dvalishvili, Manuel Torres and Iwo Baraniewski earned $50,000 UFC 323 fight-night bonuses.

Debuting fighters went 1-0 on the card.

UFC 323 drew an announced attendance of 18,603 for a live gate of $4,738,495.

Betting favorites went 8-4 on the card. Two fights had even odds.

Betting favorites fell to 23-16 (with one no contest and one even odds)) in UFC headliners this year.

Pantoja is the first in UFC history to lose a championship belt as a result of an injury stoppage.

Tatsuro Taira (18-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC) has earned 14 of his 18 career victories by stoppage.

Taira’s six stoppage victories since 2022 in UFC flyweight competition are most in the division.

Brandon Moreno (23-9-2 MMA, 11-5-2 UFC) fell to 8-4-2 since he returned to the UFC for a second stint in September 2019.

Moreno suffered the first stoppage loss of his career with a TKO defeat.

Payton Talbott def. Henry Cejudo

Henry Cejudo (16-6 MMA, 10-6 UFC) retired from MMA competition after his loss.

Cejudo four-fight losing skid is the longest of his career. He hasn’t earned a victory since May 2020.

Cejudo has suffered five of his six career losses by decision.

Jan Blachowicz vs. Bogdan Guskov

Jan Blachowicz (29-11-2 MMA, 12-8-2 UFC) became the sixth athlete to fight to multiple draws in UFC competition. Lando Vannata, Ken Shamrock, B.J. Penn, Caol Uno and Jimmy Crute also accomplished the feat.

Manuel Torres def. Grant Dawson

Manuel Torres (17-3 MMA, 5-1 UFC) has earned 16 of his 17 career victories by stoppage. That includes all five of his UFC victories.

Grant Dawson (23-3-1 MMA, 11-2-1 UFC) fell to 7-2-1 since he moved up to the UFC lightweight division in March 2020.

Dawson has suffered all three of his career losses by knockout.

Chris Duncan def. Terrance McKinney

Chris Duncan (15-2 MMA, 6-1 UFC) has earned 11 of his 15 career victories by stoppage.

Terrance McKinney (17-8 MMA, 7-5 UFC) fell to 5-5 in his past 10 fights dating back to March 2022.

McKinney has suffered all eight of his career losses by stoppage.

Maycee Barber def. Karine Silva

Maycee Barber’s (15-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC)seven-fight UFC winning streak at women’s flyweight is tied with Natalia Silva for the longest active streak in the weight class.

Barber’s nine victories in UFC women’s flyweight competition are tied with Katlyn Cerminara for most in divisional history behind Valentina Shevchenko (12).

Barber improved to 9-2 since she moved up to the UFC women’s flyweight division in March 2019.

Karine Silva (19-6 MMA, 5-2 UFC) has suffered both of her UFC losses by decision.

Fares Ziam def. Nazim Sadykhov

Fares Ziam’s (18-4 MMA, 8-2 UFC) six-fight UFC winning streak at lightweight is the second-longest active streak in the division behind Paddy Pimblett (seven).

Nazim Sadykhov (11-2-1 MA, 4-1-1 UFC) has suffered both of his career losses by stoppage.

Sadykhov suffered the first knockout loss of his career.

Brunno Ferreira def. Marvin Vettori

Brunno Ferreira (15-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) earned the first decision victory of his UFC career.

Marvin Vettori’s (19-9-1 MMA, 9-8-1 UFC) four-fight losing skid is the longest of his career. He hasn’t earned a victory since March 2023.

Vettori has suffered all 10 of his career losses by decision.
