Song Yadong has power, and he’s proven that many times in his UFC career.
At UFC on ESPN 45 in 2023, Song reminded everyone just how dangerous he is, even late into fights, in his bout against veteran Ricky Simon. After four competitive rounds, Song dropped Simon with a nasty left hook, and then swarmed him with ground-and-pound to secure the TKO win. It was a solid finish that won the Chinese fighter a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.

Song (22-8-1 MMA, 11-3-1 UFC) returns to the cage in the co-main event of UFC 324 (Paramount+) Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. He takes on former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley (18-3 MMA, 10-3 UFC) in a three-round contest.
