LAS VEGAS – Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett did their jobs at UFC 324 official weigh-ins and their interim lightweight title fight now is locked in.
Gaethje (26-5 MMA, 9-5 UFC) and Pimblett (23-3 MMA, 7-0 UFC) will decide who faces Ilia Topuria in his return from hiatus when they clash in the main event of Saturday’s card at T-Mobile Arena (Paramount+).

Before stepping into the octagon, both men had to make weight on the scale. Former interim champ Gaethje registered at 155 pounds on the nose. He was the last fighter to come to the weigh-ins stage with about 5 minutes left in the one-hour window. Pimblett was under the championship limit at 154 pounds ahead of his first opportunity at gold. He also was the first fighter to come to the stage.
