UFC contender trashes ‘Hunger Games’ White House event

by

When it was announced that a UFC event at the White House was being planned, fighters immediately began requesting to be part of the historic event. High profile fighters threw their names in the hat, including Jon Jones, Conor McGregor, Alex Pereira, Sean O’Malley, Kayla Harrison, among others. But not all fighters want to be featured on the fight card.

No. 3 ranked flyweight contender and former title challenger Brandon Royval has no interest in fighting at the White House. He let his opinion known during a profanity laced rant during an appearance on In The Arena MMA podcast.

“I don’t give a sh*t about fighting at the f**king White House. I wanna fight in front of big crowds, bro. It’s like, how big can the White House even have of a stadium? Is that sh*t outside, too,” Royval said.

“I don’t give a f**k about any of our political figures right now, and it’s like to fight in front of them seems like some f**king Hunger Games type of f**king sh*t. I don’t give a f**k to fight in front of some f**king billionaires and rich people that could give a sh*t less about me. Probably throwing parlays. F**k you guys. I want to fight in front of people that are Raw Dawg fans, or fans of MMA, and who can relate to me.”

“I don’t give a f**k about impressing any politicians. I don’t care about the Presidents. None of them. I really don’t want to f**king go fight at the White House if I’m being honest,” continued Royval. “Also, I’m too Mexican-looking. ICE is suspiciously arresting motherf**kers, and I don’t know. Who knows, bro? Next thing you know, I’m in Mexico and I don’t speak Spanish.”

Royval (17-8) is scheduled to face No. 7 ranked Manel Kape in the UFC Vegas 112 main event on Dec. 13 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
