The TKO Boxing era is upon us.
And in very UFC-esque fashion, the cold open for Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford-headlined card has been released a few days early to bolster the excitement.
Thursday, the UFC released the sub-three-minute package narrated by sports personality and analyst Max Kellerman.
The event takes place Saturday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, which will mean approximately 65,000 fans will be in attendance should it approach a sellout. The card streams on Netflix.
Canelo (63-2-2) has not lost since a May 2022 unanimous decision dropped to Dmitrii Bivol. Since then, he’s gone 6-0 with wins over Gennadiy Golovkin and Jermell Charlo among others.
Crawford (41-0) moves up to super middleweight (168 pounds) from super welterweight (154 pounds), a gain of 14 allowed pounds, though much of his career he competed even lighter at welterweight (147 pounds).
