The weigh-ins took place at the UFC host hotel in Shanghai. The nearby Mercedes-Benz Arena hosts Saturday’s event (ESPN+).

Among those weighing in were Johnny Walker (21-9 MMA, 7-6 UFC) and rising Chinese middleweight star Zhang Mingyang (19-6 MMA, 3-0 UFC), who will be fighting in front of his home fans in the main event.

The scheduled co-main event between former featherweight title challenger Brian Ortega (16-4 MMA, 8-4 UFC) meets ex-bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling (24-5 MMA, 16-5 UFC) was shifted to a catchweight contest following a report that the bout had been canceled due to Ortega being allegedly hospitalized.
