UFC Vegas 113’s weigh-ins went off without a hitch Friday morning as far as the main card was concerned. The same, however, cannot be said about this weekend’s undercard.
In one of the more uninspired weigh-in showings in recent memory, four fighters on UFC Vegas 113’s prelims missed weight, including two — Gianni Vazquez and Muin Gafurov — who badly missed their targets by 5 pounds.

Vazquez (141 pounds) and Gafurov (141) both came in close to the featherweight limit for their scheduled bantamweight bouts against Javid Basharat (135.5) and Jakub Wiklacz (135.5), respectively. As a result, Vazquez and Gafurov must each forfeit 25% of their purses to their opponents and both fights will now be contested at catchweights.
Scheduled opponents Eduarda Moura (127) and Wang Cong (127.5) were the other two offenders, each missing weight for their women’s flyweight bout. Because both fighters missed by a similar amount, Moura vs. Cong has been rescheduled as a catchweight and neither fighter will be forced to forfeit a percentage of their purses.
UFC Vegas 113 takes place Saturday at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas. Bantamweight headliners Mario Bautista (135.5) and Vinicius Oliveira (136) both hit their target marks at Friday’s weigh-ins.
