The Tar Heels will begin their regular season on Monday, November 3 against NC Central, then host in-state opponent Elon three days later. North Carolina will spend nearly three weeks away from home: facing UCLA (Nov. 13) and Fairfield (Nov. 15) in the inaugural WBCA Challenge, then traveling to Greensboro for a Nov. 20 clash with North Carolina A&T.
UNC hosts UNC-Greensboro on Nov. 23, then travels south to sunny Mexico for the Cancun Challenge (dates TBD), where South Dakota State, Columbia and Kansas State await.
North Carolina’s grueling non-conference schedule continues Thursday, December 4 in the ACC-SEC Challenge at Texas, a reigning Final Four participant. The Tar Heels make their long-awaited return home on Dec. 7, when they’ll host Boston University, before closing out non-conference play against UNC-Wilmington (Dec. 17) and Charleston Southern (Dec. 21).
