The 2025 YMCA National Long Course Swimming Championships continued from Ocala, Florida.
The second day of the meet saw finals in the men’s and women’s 200 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, 200 backstroke and 200 free relay.
Upper Main Line leads the women’s meet with 283 points. Lakeland Hills is second with 231, followed by Greater Spartanburg (187), Jersey Shore (183.5) and Powel Crosley (176.5).
Greater Spartanburg leads the men’s meet with 308 points. Greater Somerset County is second with 239, followed by York (158), Indian Valley (152) and Lakeland Hills (148).
Here is a look at what happened on Day 2:
YMCA Championships: Women’s 200 Free
Oshkosh Wisconsin’s Kiersten Dietschweiler earned her second win of the meet, holding off the field in the 200 free.
The 16-year-old finished in 2:05.32, dropping almost two seconds from prelims and besting the field by about a half second.
Upper Main Line’s Ellie McNamara was also under 2:06, getting to the wall in 2:05.98 to earn second place.
Lakeland Hills’ Serena Dickey was third in 2:06.53, followed by Cheshire’s Annie Superchi (2:06.72) and York’s Aivleen Walsh (2:07.18).

YMCA Championships: Men’s 200 Free
Greater Somerset’s Domingo Gatti was able to hold off Indian Valley’s Grody Lonsberry and Summerville’s Grant Smith in a race that could have gone to any of the three, who all touched nearly together.
Gatti earned the 200 free win in 1:54.56, just three hundredths of a second ahead of Lonsberry (1:54.59), and 14 hundredths ahead of Smith (1:54.70).
Foothills’ Luke Hamon was fourth (1:55.23), followed by Spartanburg’s Wade Chandgie (1:55.28).

York’s Molly Yacoviello dominated the 200 breaststroke to earn a two-second win. The 18-year-old won the race in 2:31.59.
Spartanburg’s Grace Hunt finished second in 2:33.41, followed by Nashua’s Izzie Gilbert (2:34.57) and Spartanburg’s Claire Burns (2:35.29).

York’s Kaden Fatta held off Triangle Area’s Evan Hepburn and York teammate William Rees in a close 200 breast race.
Fatta got to the wall in 2:19.18, ahead of Hepburn (2:19.34) and Rees (2:19.65).
Upper Main Line’s Sebastian Tith was fourth in 2:21.78, ahead of Cheshire’s Brayden Hale (2:22.09).

Fifteen-year-old Taylor Leishman of Wyckoff New Jersey dominated the 200 backstroke with a swim of 2:16.92. The time was more than three seconds ahead of the field.
Lima Ohio’s Lily Baumgartner finished second in 2:20.06, just ahead of Lowes North Carolina’s Alyssa Claborn (2:20.09) and Cheshire’s Natalia Gajecki (2:21.11).
