A week later, hooker Joaquin Myszka and center Santiago Gini earned their first caps against Scotland in Montevideo in 2024.
In November 2024, fly half Ícaro Amarillo debuted against Spain in Madrid as did fullback Juan González. No players debuted in the test matches against Japan in France nor against Romania in Bucharest.
Loose Head Prop Francisco Súarez was the first Uruguay debutant in 2025. He earned his first cap against Romania in Montevideo. No players debuted for Uruguay in the away test match against Argentina in Salta. As such, Alfonso Perillo Albarracin is the second Uruguayan debutant in 2025.

Ambrosio’s first roster for 2025 contained additional uncapped players. The year began with seven uncapped players. Of them two are now capped: Francisco Suárez and Alfonso Perillo Albarracín.
The five others can be classified as players expected to make their test debuts at some point this year. Peñarol hooker Sebastián Pérez, second-rower Federico de Los Santos, and N8 Manuel Rosmarino are the remaining uncapped forwards.
Alfonso Perillo Albarracín’s debut leaves the young duo of Justo Ferrario (fullback / wing) and Francisco Landauer (Fly half / fullback) as the uncapped backs on Ambrosio’s roster for the July 2025 Internationals.
