USC football re-signs four more young players for 2026 season

by

Over the past week, USC has been “re-signing” many of its players for the 2026 season. Near the end of last week, the Trojans added four more names to that list.

Who is else is now confirmed as coming back? Let’s take a look at the Trojans’ latest group of re-signees:

Kameryn Crawford

In two seasons on USC’s defensive line, Crawford has 53 tackles and 5.5 sacks. He will look to take the next step in his game as a junior next season.

Isaiah Rubin

As a redshirt freshman cornerback, Rubin finished the 2025 regular season with five total tackles. He will look to earn a bigger role in USC’s secondary in 2026.

Floyd Boucard

A true freshman defensive lineman, Boucard had six tackles and a sack in the regular season. Having a full offseason with Trumain Carroll and USC’s strength and conditioning staff could be massive for his development.

RJ Sermons

Originally a member of USC’s top-ranked 2026 recruiting class, Sermons reclassified to the class of 2025 and joined the Trojans ahead of the 2025. After not recording any game statistics this season, Sermons will look to earn his way into the rotation next fall.

USC’s philosophy

In today’s era of the transfer portal and early NFL departures, there is so much focus on which players are departing the program. Hence, USC has decided to shift the focus and highlight the players who are choosing to stick around with the Trojans. The strategy appears to be paying off, as USC’s re-signing announcements have drawn a lot of traction on social media.
