Last month, USC football signed the No. 1 recruiting class in the country for the 2026 cycle. On Wednesday, those recruits became true freshman, as they officially moved in at USC for the spring semester.
In today’s era of college football, the vast majority of players graduate high school a semester early and enroll in college in January in order to be able to participate in spring practice with their new teams. Expect nearly all of USC’s high school signees to join the team shortly as the Trojans participate in winter conditioning leading up to spring ball.

While head coach Lincoln Riley’s first few recruiting classes at USC were far from horrible, they did not quite live up to the standard of what was expect when the Trojans paid nine figures to hire him away from Oklahoma in 2021. Led by general manager Chad Bowden, however, USC finally turned things around in this cycle, signing the top ranked class in the country. At long last, the Trojans are acting like they are supposed to and bringing some of the top talent in the country to Los Angeles.
That talent has arrived on campus. Now, the real work begins, as USC’s coaching staff will look to develop the talented players that the Trojans have brought in and turn their recruiting wins into victories on the field.
