Last month, USC signed the No. 1 recruiting class in the country for the 2026 cycle. With that class complete, the Trojans have now turned their sights to 2027.
On Saturday, the Trojans picked up their first commitment in the 2027 class, landing four-star cornerback Aaryn Washington. 247Sports Composite ranks Washington as the No. 83overall player and the No. 9 cornerback in the class of 2027.

Washington comes to the Trojans from noted USC pipeline program Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. Other notable players to come to USC from Mater Dei include Matt Leinart, Matt Barkley, and Amon-Ra St. Brown.
“With USC, I built a lot of relationships with the whole coaching staff, Washington said in an interview with 247Sports. “Really, they showed me that they have everything I need to get to the next level.
“Having all these top players in your backyard, why not just keep them all in the city? We want to do it for the city and bring greatness to USC again. We know USC can be great.”
With general manager Chad Bowden leading the way, the Trojans appear to have finally figured out recruiting in the NIL era, landing an elite 2026 class. With Bowden leading the way, expect USC to bring in another strong recruiting class in 2027.
