Lindsay Gottlieb and USC women’s basketball are continuing to excel on the recruiting trail. Last week, Gottlieb and the Trojans picked up another massive commitment, landing class of 2026 five star Sitaya Fagan. Given that Gottlieb and USC already landed top 2026 recruit Saniyah Hall, it’s clear that USC has — on paper — the best roster for any women’s college basketball team for the 2026-2027 season. Sitaya Fagan, Hall, JuJu Watkins, Jazzy Davidson, and Kennedy Smith is an absolute powerhouse starting five. USC is making its case for elite status in the 2026-2027 cycle.
Fagan comes to the Trojans all the way from Australia. She is one of the most sought women’s basketball recruits to ever come out of the country.

“Getting it down to that final three [of USC, South Carolina, and Texas] was hard, but I sort of just had a feeling that USC was the one,” Fagan said via basketball.com.au.
“I really enjoyed it there, but they were my first official visit, so it’s like ‘what if I enjoy all three’, which I did, but USC just felt right.”
Fagan is just the latest instance of a top recruit choosing to come and play for the Trojans. USC has signed numerous blue-chip players under head coach Lindsay Gottlieb, including Juju Watkins, Kennedy Smith, and Jazzy Davidson. It will be hard to win the national championship without JuJu this season, but if we look ahead to 2027, it’s hard to see a better roster than what Gottlieb and the Trojans have built.
