PFL’s first main event of 2026 will have the lightweight title on the line.
On Feb. 7, the promotion’s third PFL: Road to Dubai series event will take place at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai (ESPN, ESPN+). The main event will see Usman Nurmagomedov put his 155-pound title on the line against 2025 lightweight tournament winner Alfie Davis. The promotion officially announced the news Thursday morning.

The undefeated champion Nurmagomedov (20-0) enters on the heels of a unanimous decision victory in a rematch against Paul Hughes in October to win the vacant PFL lightweight title. After the fight, he called out Davis (20-5-1), and his wish has been granted.
Davis won the 2025 PFL lightweight tournament by pulling off an upset unanimous decision over Gadzhi Rabadanov. His tournament run began with a first-round finish of Clay Collard, followed by a decision over Brent Primus to reach the finals, where he won the tournament title and a $500,000 prize.
More fights for the event will be announced at a later date.
PFL CEO John Martin recently announced a 2026 roadmap for the promotion, which will include a total of 24 events.
