NEW COMMIT:Β Evanston, Illinois native Vanya Gojakovic will stay close to home for her college career. The Futures qualifier has verbally committed to Northwestern University and will arrive on campus in Fall 2027.

Regarding her commitment, she said:

β€œI’m honored and excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic journey at Northwestern University! I’d like to thank my family for their constant love, support, and sacrifices. To my club and high school coaches, and my past and present teammates: thank you for pushing me every day and helping shape who I am in and out of the pool. Finally, a huge thank you to Coach Rachel, Coach Margaret, Coach Eddie, and the entire NU coaching staff for believing in me and welcoming me into the Wildcat family. I’m so excited for what’s ahead. GO ’CATS!!”

No stranger to Northwestern’s program, Gojakovic does her club swimming with NASA Wildcat Aquatics. She most recently won five events at the NASA Winter Blastoff Meet last month.
