Victoria Crawford Confirms TNA Deal and Reveals How Limited Schedule Helps Her Adjust

by

Victoria Crawford is officially back in the wrestling game—and this time, it’s full-time with TNA Wrestling.

After previously playing coy about her status, the former WWE star came clean in a new interview on Going Ringside with Scott Johnson and confirmed that her deal with TNA is now locked in.

“Yes, so it’s official. I’m with TNA. Official official.”

Crawford explained that she’s adjusting to the demands of wrestling again, but the part-time schedule has been the key to helping her find her rhythm after years away from weekly competition.

“So far so good. You know, it’s nice that the schedule is a couple times a month, right? So, it’s a good time to get reacclimated to that road life. That was probably my biggest like, ‘Oh God, what’s going to happen?’ But uh, getting there, everything’s good.”

This marks a big step for Crawford, who hadn’t held a consistent TV role in years before joining TNA earlier this year. She’s currently involved in a storyline with Tessa Blanchard and made her last in-ring appearance during TNA’s June 21 tapings, where she faced Indi Hartwell. Crawford hasn’t competed since, but she did open up about suffering a recent sternum injury during the same interview.

She described the injury as an unexpected wake-up call to how much the sternum affects daily movement in the ring.

“I had some sternum issues. I did. So, you know, our job’s very physical, but I had got, you know, my girlfriend like laid in on my sternum. And so, there was a couple weeks where I was kind of just like, um, kind of bruised and held up.”

“Didn’t notice it before, because I wouldn’t think of my sternum, but if it’s hurting, you—Yeah. I was like, ‘Oh my god.’”

Despite the setback, Crawford is embracing her return and seems genuinely excited to be back in the mix—on her terms.
