Namajunas (14-8 MMA, 12-7 UFC) suffered a unanimous decision loss to Silva on Saturday’s UFC 324 main card at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas – a decision that turned many heads. Over 75 percent of the media member scores tracked by MMA Decisions had the fight for Namajunas.

The former two-time UFC strawweight champion couldn’t contain her emotions when greeting fans after her loss, as seen in a video posted by her manager Brian Butler, of SuckerPunch Entertainment.
All three judges awarded Silva (20-5-1 MMA, 8-0 UFC) Rounds 1 and 3. The Brazilian claimed that the UFC promised her the next shot at flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko with the win. Meanwhile, Namajunas is now 3-3 at 125 pounds.
