Alex Pereira is still in the giving spirit after the holiday season.
The UFC light heavyweight champion surprised his father recently by giving him a golf cart at his house.
Pereira admits “it’s not easy to make” his father cry, but the golf cart was enough for his father to get emotional and the UFC star took him for a spin.

“Very happy to be able to present my dad, he deserves it a lot because he stopped having his own things to be able to raise seven children, thank you dad,” Pereira wrote on Instagram.
Pereira was rumored to fight Jon Jones at the UFC White House in June, but a broken foot has sidelined him. It’s not clear if Pereira plans to defend his UFC light heavyweight title next or jump up to the heavyweight division to face former champion Jones, current champion Tom Aspinall, who is out with an eye injury, or for an interim UFC heavyweight title against another opponent.
Pereira regained his UFC light heavyweight title this past October at UFC 320 when he delivered a first-round knockout of Magomed Ankalaev.
