There were several standout individual football performances across Southwestern Indiana. Who gets your vote?

Each week you can vote for the Courier & Press football Player of the Week. Below you will find the complete football poll and brief info on every nominee from Week 6 of the high school football season. You can vote as often as you’d like until 10 a.m. CT Friday morning. The nominees:

Carter Bobe, Castle: The senior wide receiver had five catches for 151 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-25 win over Reitz.

Bret Buecher, North Posey: The sophomore running back had 187 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a win over South Spencer.

Justin Leathers, Southridge: The senior quarterback had 82 passing yards, 141 rushing yards (two touchdowns) and 10 total tackles in a 21-6 win over Mount Vernon.

Mac McCormick, Vincennes Lincoln: The senior running back had 288 yards on 30 carries and two touchdowns in a 49-7 win over Harrison.

Hunter McKinney, North: The sophomore running back had 136 rushing yards on 12 carries and two touchdowns in a 49-18 win over Mater Dei.

Karwin Pope, Princeton: The senior running back had 274 yards and five touchdowns in a 33-29 win at North Knox.

Cayden Ramos, Jasper: The junior running back had 146 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a 47-12 win over Central.

Colin Scherer, Gibson Southern: The senior running back had 85 rushing yards and two touchdowns, plus 18 total tackles and a blocked punt in a 38-34 win over Heritage Hills.
