The Italian showcased his trademark balance between power and precision, moving fluently and dictating rallies with calm authority. After the match, the organizers prepared a special surprise for the well-known Lego enthusiast.
Sinner received a miniature of St. Stephen's Cathedral made of Lego bricks. To make it even more special, the 2023 champion was invited to place the final brick himself, a playful celebration of his creativity on and off the court.

Laughing while completing the structure, Jannik joked that the almost completed gift saved him some work, delighting the Vienna crowd that came to support him.
It was a fitting tribute to a player who has built his rise brick by brick – using patience, focus and passion as building techniques. Now, one step away from his second Vienna crown, the 24-year-old continues to prove that every masterpiece begins with a single piece – or a single point.
Sinner bested de Minaur for the 12th time in as many duels after leaving him behind on serve and return. The top seed hit 18 winners and 21 unforced errors. He hit more service winners and had the edge from the baseline.
