After dominating Wisconsin on the road on Saturday, the Ohio State football team will maintain its No. 1 ranking and move to 7-0 on the season. All of those lofty goals that were there are the start of the season, like a Big Ten title and College Football Playoff national championship, are still on the table halfway through the 2025 campaign, and now the Buckeyes get a week off before preparing to host Penn State in a couple of weeks.
Ohio State head coach Ryan Day met with reporters after the game for his postgame press conference to reflect on the win over Wisconsin and what’s ahead for the team in the near future, and was, for the most part, pleased with what he saw.

We have Day’s entire press conference thanks to the WBNS 10TV YouTube channel in case you want to soak in whatever he had to say postgame. During his time with the media, Day discussed the play of Julian Sayin, needing the running game to grow, the game Carnell Tate had, and more.
We’ll have plenty during the off week coming up here as we reflect on what we’ve seen so far and what’s next with the game against Penn State, so make sure you check back with us here at Buckeyes Wire often.
