We’ve got a sizeable matchup coming this weekend in the Big Ten, and it involves Ohio State. After dominating Minnesota at home on homecoming, the Buckeyes travel to Champaign to take on a ranked Illinois team that will be the latest challenge for the No. 1-ranked team in the country.
Here at Buckeyes Wire, we like to keep tabs on what the opposing coaches say about Ohio State both prior to and after the game, and it just so happens that Illinois head coach Bret Bielema met with the local media at Illinois to discuss where his team is and what he sees from OSU ahead of the game on Saturday.

Bielma was aware of the challenge and opportunity of playing a team like Ohio State, and in case you missed any of his comments, we have the entire press conference from the Illinois head man in its entirety, thanks to the Big Ten Football YouTube channel.
Bielema discusses the magnitude of the game, the respect he has for the Ohio State players and coaches, the environment he’s hoping for from the home crowd, and more.
Ohio State and Illinois are set to kick things off at Noon, and we’ll have coverage before, during, and after all the festivities, so be sure to check back with us.
