The Michigan State women’s basketball team will try to avoid its first losing streak of the season when it returns to Breslin Center on Thursday, Jan. 22 for an 8 p.m. matchup against USC.
MSU will try to remain unbeaten at home this season as the Trojans make their first visit to Breslin Center as a member of the Big Ten.

The No. 15-ranked Spartans enter the matchup coming off a 75-68 road loss to nationally ranked Iowa on Sunday, Jan. 18. That loss ended a nine-game winning streak for MSU, which was off to its best start in program history. USC, which has played this season without star Juju Watkins, recorded an 83-57 victory over Purdue at home on Jan. 18 in its last game.

While Watkins may be sidelined, the Trojans have one of the Big Ten’s top freshmen in Jazzy Davidson, who leads USC in scoring, rebounding, steals and blocks..
