Northwestern (6-6) takes on Central Michigan (7-5) in the GameAbove Sports Bowl, a welcome return to postseason play for both schools.
The Wildcats dropped four of their last five games but managed to secure bowl eligibility after missing out a year ago. Northwestern has won five straight bowl games dating back to the 2016 Pinstripe Bowl.
The Chippewas are back in a bowl for the first time since 2021 as first-year coach Matt Drinkall has made plenty of headway in turning the program around. Central will make the relatively short trip to Detroit for a bowl game for the sixth time, but the first since 2015.
