Longhorns fans are actually lucky. Thanks to last week’s bye, Texas fans with YouTube TV only had to scramble to watch one UT game, instead of two. That is now a thing of the past as the two media giants have ended their feud and signed a carriage deal so all Disney owned channels are back on Google-owned YouTube TV. That includes ESPN and ABC.
Disney and YouTube TV reached a new deal Friday evening to bring the channels back to the live-streaming platform Friday, ending a blackout for customers that lasted over two weeks.

“As part of the new deal, Disney’s full suite of networks and stations — including ESPN and ABC — have already begun to be restored to YouTube TV subscribers,” The Walt Disney Co. said in a statement.
YouTube TV also confirmed the return of Disney content. The carrier apologized for the disruption and thanked customers for their “patience as we negotiated on their behalf.”
Disney channels were removed from YouTube TV on Oct. 30 after the two sides failed to reach a new licensing deal. The impact was felt by football fans, including Longhorns Nation. The Texas game against Vanderbilt was two days later. Many fans had to figure out another way to watch the game on the fly.
But one of the longest carriage disputes in TV history is now over.
