Unrivaled, the three-on-three basketball league founded by Minnesota Lynx Forward Napheesa Collier and the New York Liberty’s own Breanna Stewart, recently announced its rosters for the upcoming 2026 season.
Complete with two new clubs, Breeze Basketball Club and Hive Basketball Club, and a development player pool, Unrivaled will welcome 18 new players, bringing the total to 54, in Miami next year.

While Liberty fans wait for a conclusion to the head coach search after Sandy Brondello’s departure at the end of their 2025 WNBA season, and anxiously await the 2026 season, there is a lot to look forward to during the second annual Urivaled season.
Breanna Stewart Is Unrivaled
Unrivaled’s co-founder and Liberty’s powerhouse forward, Breanna Stewart, will play her second season with the Mist Basketball Club, which was just shy of a playoff bid in the league’s inaugural season.
Stewart is coming off a disappointing Liberty season, following an early exit in the postseason and a sprained MCL in her left knee that led her to miss 13 games. Despite this ending, Stewart still maintained a scoring average of 18.3 points per game in the regular season and 18 in the postseason.

Stewart was also selected to the 2025 WNBA All-Defensive Second Team, earning her an All-Defensive distinction for the sixth consecutive year. Stewart had the lowest qSI on opponent restricted area attempts in the league, underscoring her defensive impact that brought the Liberty to the first round of the playoffs.
Pending recovery, Stewart is poised for a successful Unrivaled season, surrounded by Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray and Dallas Wings’ Arike Ogunbowale. Fans should look forward to yet another display of Stewart’s defensive, scoring, and leadership abilities on and off the court.
Natasha Cloud Makes Her Return to the Phantom Basketball Club
Leading the Phantom Basketball Club is Natasha Cloud, the Liberty’s point guard. Cloud was traded last season from the Connecticut Sun in exchange for New York’s No. 7 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA draft and their 2026 first-round pick. In her first season with the Liberty, Cloud averaged 10.1 points and 3.7 rebounds in the regular season and 12.7 points in the postseason.

Cloud was nothing short of a beast in the Liberty’s first playoff game against the Phoenix Mercury. In this crucial game that went into dramatic overtime, Cloud put up 23 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals, highlighting her invaluable role in the team’s success.
Although her first season in New York was cut short, Cloud is excited to return to Unrivaled to play her second season as part of the “ghost gang” on the Phantom Basketball Club, alongside Satou Sabally, the only other returning player to Phantom this season.
When asked about Unrivaled, Cloud said that “[Unrivaled] is a league that has continued to set a precedent for women’s basketball across the realm.”
