What time does Alexander Volkanovski vs. Diego Lopes start at UFC 325?

Will we get a repeat performance and outcome, or will things be different this time between Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes? That will be answered when their featherweight championship bout, scheduled for five rounds, takes place Saturday, January 31 (Sunday, February 1 locally) at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.

A Volkanovski vs. Lopes rematch wasn’t on the radar after Volkanovski won a clear unanimous decision to reclaim his throne in their vacant 145-pound title fight last April at UFC 314, with most fans believing Lerone Murphy or Movsar Evloev were next in line, but that’s what we’re getting in the UFC 325 main event.

Since their first encounter, Volkanovski has been out of action and now looks to make the first defense of his second featherweight title reign. Lopes earned another title shot after defeating Jean Silva by TKO in a wild Noche UFC headliner last September.
