Is it too soon for Joshua Van to be a UFC champion, or will he be the one to dethrone Alexandre Pantoja? Their flyweight title fight scheduled for five rounds is taking place Saturday, December 6 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

At just 24 years old, Van can become the first fighter born in the 2000s to win a UFC title. He’ll enter UFC 323 on a five-fight winning streak and coming off a huge win in a Fight of the Year contender with former title challenger Brandon Royval on June 28. Van’s fight with Pantoja marks his fourth appearance of 2025.

Pantoja, 35, will enter UFC 323 on an eight-fight winning streak that dates back February 2021. He became flyweight champion with a win over Brandon Moreno in July 2023 and has since successfully defended his title four times. Pantoja most recently submitted Kai Kara-France on June 28.

When does the UFC 323 fight card start?

The UFC 323 lineup consists of 14 fights. Early prelims start at 6 p.m. ET, prelims at 8 p.m. ET, and the pay-per-view main card at 10 p.m. ET.
