Finding a ticket to Monday’s Miami-Indiana College Football Playoff National Championship is difficult — and expensive — enough. But where can you park? And how much will that cost you? What’s the best way to get to the game?
Yes, all of this will be expensive and time consuming, but there are options that are less expensive and time consuming than others.

Parking at Hard Rock Stadium and in the Hard Rock Stadium Express lots are sold out, the CFP announced Wednesday evening. In order to purchase one of those parking passes now, you have to turn to the secondary market.
Of course, parking passes are being re-sold for exorbitant prices. On the secondary ticket website Gametime, parking passes range from $444 in the yellow lots far from the stadium to $9,881 in the black lots near the stadium entrances, as of Thursday morning. On another website, StubHub, prices for Hard Rock Stadium Express lots (the far away ones you park at and shuttle to the stadium) are selling for $128-$135.
Hard Rock Stadium plans strict rules for parking and security on game day, and amid reports that President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio will be attending the game, expect waits and unyielding enforcement of rules.
Fans without game tickets who stay in parking lots after kickoff will be asked to leave by local police, the CFP announced. Fans should expect an “extended security perimeter” and will have their game tickets scanned when walking from the yellow lots (further from the stadium) to the orange lots (closer to the stadium). Fans will need a game ticket to move into the orange lots, the CFP said.

Naturally, traffic is a huge concern, as well. The CFP is encouraging fans who are using rideshare apps (like Uber and Lyft) to take them to the Hard Rock Stadium Express lots and take the free shuttles to the stadium. Fans will need a game ticket to board the shuttles. The CFP is also encouraging fans to take the shuttles back to the express lots when leaving the stadium and call their rideshare from there.
According to the CFP website, the stadium parking lots open at 11 a.m. for the 7:30 p.m. kickoff, and that’s also when the off-site express lots open and shuttle service begins. Gates to the stadium open at 4:30 p.m.
The Hard Rock Stadium Express lots are located at:
Lot 70 (North): Across the street from Seminole Hard Rock Hotel (5700 S. State Road 7, Fort Lauderdale)
Lot 95 (South): Golden Glades Parking Garage (16000 NW Seventh Ave., Miami)
