Louisville women’s basketball rolled to a seventh straight win and, as a result, the No. 10 spot in the latest AP Top 25, released on Monday.
Six of the Cardinals’ seven wins have come by 20 or more points, the latest of which was an 85-60 victory over Virginia Tech on Sunday. It was also head coach Jeff Walz’s 500th career win.

Louisville (14-3, 4-0 ACC) will now have a crucial conference stretch with three of its next four games being on the road. That starts with Thursday’s 3 p.m. game against Miami. UofL is 5-0 in Coral Gables, Florida, and has won the last six regular-season games against the Hurricanes.
