Where Oregon vs. Penn State double-OT thriller ranks among most-watched games in 2025

We’re only five weeks into the 2025 college football season, and already we’ve been treated to some instant classics.

It started out with an incredible Week 1 slate of games that saw the likes of the defending champion Ohio State Buckeyes host Arch Manning and the Texas Longhorns at home, while the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Miami Hurricanes squared off later in the weekend.

Each week has been entertaining thus far, capped off most recently by a banger of a Saturday in Week 5, with the Oregon Ducks taking down the Penn State Nittany Lions on the road, the Alabama Crimson Tide upsetting the Georgia Bulldogs, and the Ole Miss Rebels shocking the LSU Tigers.

While we’ve seen a long list of great games, which one has fans tuned into the most? That’s where it’s fun to look at the television ratings and try to see which captured the viewer’s attention the most. Oregon’s win over Penn State is on that list, but how high does it rank? Let’s take a look:
