Vanderbilt women’s basketball moved up one spot to No. 14 in the AP Poll after defeating Virginia in the ACC/SEC Challenge.
The Commodores (9-0), led by All-American Mikayla Blakes, have three wins over power conference opposition this season. They have nearly two weeks off from games because of finals before returning to face South Florida at Memorial Gymnasium on Dec. 15 (6:30 p.m. CT, SEC Network+).

In the win over the Cavaliers, Blakes became the fastest player in program history to reach 1,000 career points.
As of Dec. 8, Vanderbilt is No. 16 in the NET rankings.
