While Indiana (24-20) was idly scoreboard watching with the hopes of seeing their 2025 WNBA Playoff seeding improve, the team got exactly what they were hoping for as the Minnesota Lynx defeated the Golden State Valkyries on Thursday to vault the Fever to the No. 6 seed.
Many fans were anxious about who the Fever might have to open the playoffs against in their best-of-three first-round series. Indiana benefited through a late Thursday night result in that regard, as the Las Vegas Aces defeated the Los Angeles Sparks to elevate Las Vegas to the No. 2 seed.
