Who’s next Reinier de Ridder after Brendan Allen loss?
MMA Junkie’s Mike Bohn plays matchmaker and looks ahead to what makes sense for Charles Oliveira in this edition of “Mick Maynard’s Shoes.”
Reinier de Ridder’s brilliant run to start his octagon career took its first hit at UFC Fight Night 262 when he lost to Brendan Allen.
Former two-division ONE Championship titleholder de Ridder (20-3 MMA, 4-1 UFC) experienced his first blemish in the promotion when he failed to come out of the corner for the fifth round against Allen (26-7 MMA, 14-4 UFC) at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, resulting a TKO defeat.
De Ridder was on the cusp of a middleweight title fight had he won, but instead he loses much momentum and has to return to the drawing board.
