Per league rules, a player or coach is automatically suspended for a game after picking up an eighth technical foul on the season. Additional suspensions can arise for every additional two technical fouls received, per the league.

Reese will be eligible for the team’s final three games of the season, two road games against the Las Vegas Aces on Sept. 7 and Sept. 9, a home finale against the New York Liberty on Sept. 11.

However, the Liberty game could be Reese’s final game with the Sky after she called her future with the franchise in question this week.

We’ll see what the future holds for Reese and the Sky, but we do know she will not be eligible to play during Friday’s away game against the Fever.
