Jazmyn Nyx was written off WWE television during the September 23 episode of NXT as she will be departing the company once her contract expires. While speculation about her future continues, the actual reason she’s leaving WWE has been revealed.
According to PWInsider, WWE officially wrote Jazmyn Nyx out of her storyline after she declined a new contract offer. Multiple sources confirmed she turned down the deal, meaning once her current contract expires she will be free to wrestle anywhere she chooses, if she decides to continue her career.
“WWE wrote Jazmyn Nyx out of company storyline last night as she turned down an offer to sign a new deal with the company. Multiple sources have confirmed that she declined what WWE offered her. When her existing contract expires, she would be free and clear to wrestle anywhere she chooses – if she wishes.”
Jazmyn Nyx was abruptly dropped from Fatal Influence during this week’s episode of NXT as Jacy Jayne stated it was time to “drop the dead weight,” adding, “only the strong survive,” before she and Fallon Henley walked off from Nyx.
Jazmyn Nyx’s choice to turn down WWE’s new contract creates many opportunities for her future. Whether she keeps wrestling or tries something completely new, fans and wrestlers alike will be watching closely to see what she does next.
